Welcome to Crooked River Reading Club, downtown Cleveland's only independent retail bookstore.

Crooked River (from the Indian word Cuyahoga) offers a unique shopping experience to downtown Cleveland workers, residents and visitors. Choose from new releases and bestsellers, books about local subjects or by area authors, classics, a wide range of gifts for readers, and basics like reading glasses and note cards.

Enjoy the traditional atmosphere of our elegant, Victorian-style store in the bright and modern Galleria at Erieview. If you want to chat, we'll chat...we'll help you make a quick selection...or we'll leave you alone to browse at your leisure. Free gift wrapping is available for most purchases.

What makes our store different from other retail bookstores is personal service. Special orders are welcome (including online searches for exactly what you want, even older books). We'll learn your name and help you join a lunchtime book club, if you wish. Your comments and suggestions are vitally important to us.

As a small, locally owned business open since August 2005, Crooked River is proud to carry on the long tradition of fine bookstores in downtown Cleveland. We look forward to serving you.
